| Arizona State University has had a Womans Division I varsity team since 2001 and has a men's club team that travels and competes as well. The are the most visible Arizona Water Polo teams.

| The University of Arizona Water Polo program goes back to the 1970's with its Mens team, which makes them the longest running Arizona Water Polo organization. The U of A will be adding a Womans varsity team in the future as well. |
